The month of joy, lights and magic! Beside the beautiful decorations in most of the streets, many special concerts and people rushing around in the shops there is one very important detail of the Christmas period – Christmas markets! That’s where we go to buy presents and breath in the real Christmas spirit.

 

So it would be unfair not to share with you a couple of  the best places to visit, to take a glass of mulled wine or eat a waffle.

 

Paris Notre Dame Christmas market – French Arts & Crafts

13th to 29th December 2019

Opening hour from 10h to 20h every day except

Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday from 10h to 21h

 

We just love this market, the quality of the products actually made by artisans and the festive mood of the market!

You can find here home decoration items, jewelry, ceramics as well as regional gastronomy “stars” like macaroons, cheese, and foie gras. Not to mention the ambiance with a Santa Claus, live Christmas music, story telling for the kids and many other activities!

 

 

Christmas in Saint – Germain – Des – Pres

30th november 2019 to 5th January 2020

Opening hour from 10h to 19h every day

This Christmas market can be found just along the Church of Saint Germain des Prés. THere you have everything to feel the Christmas! And, We should say, this is one of the most decorated market with loads of lights! So you can not miss it! It is worth to even if you are not going to buy anything neither eat or drink!

 

Tuileries Garden Christmas market

15th november 2019 to 5th January 2020

Friday and Saturday  11h – 0h45

This is a market to visit if you really want to celebrate! The festive atmosphere is filled with Christmas decorations, gastronomic treats, crafts, and dozens of gifts ideas.. A unique possibility to see Paris dressed in Christmas from the Ferris Wheel and enjoy the holiday season by taking merry-go-rounds such as the flying chairs or the ghost train.

 

Christmas market : Paris Canopee ( Les Halles metro station)

14th november to 20th December 2019
