Restaurant L’invitée

L’invitée, owned by Guillaume and Romain,  is a cosy but contemporary restaurant which serves inventive French cuisine at a very reasonable price.  The lunch menu, which changes every day,  is a real bargain at 16€.  This special menu, served Tuesday – Friday (except for holidays) includes either a starter, a main dish and coffee, or a main dish, desert and coffee.  L’invitée also offers a chic but informal cocktail bar on Friday and Saturday nights.

This restaurant perfectly combines simplicity and luxury. The blue interior  ( the favorite color of Guillaume and Romain) doesn’t make it cold at all –  framed pictures, books and plenty of plants are all well thought out details to make your visit special, as if you came to visit your own friends! The name of the restaurant ” L’invitée”  ( the guest )was chosen in  honour of the first novel of Simone de Beauvoir.

It comes as no surprise that all details are precise and well measured as one of the owners worked in luxury catering for over 15 years, and another in the film industry where he produced, wrote and directed several short and feature films.

Hotel Marignan advising:

This restaurant was kind enough to let us use their premises to serve breakfast last year during our major renovation of our ground floor.  But that is not the only reason why we recommend it!  We often have lunch and/or dinner here ourselves, and invite our friends!
