Atelier Vitrail de Bièvre

Have you ever been curious about how Medieval craftsmen made the amazing stained glass windows you have seen in Paris’ churches or in Chartres Cathedral?  You can learn all about it in this workshop. Emmanuel Javaloyes has been a stained glass artist for 18 years. He creates and restores stained glass windows and makes decorative objects such as mirrors and frames in all styles. 

Emmanuel Javaloyes has carried out many renovations and new projects in apartments, churches and public buildings…Check out his gallery on his website! His workshop, located between the place Maubert and the Seine, is the perfect place to find an original gift and to see Emmanuel at work.  You can also take a class here and learn how to make your own stained glass creations.

How to find Atelier Vitrail de Bièvre :

Turn right when leaving the hotel, then left at the end of the street. Turn right and walk across Place Maubert.  Cross the Boulevard Saint Germain and turn right. The rue de Bièvre is a small street on your left. It is a three minute walk from the hotel.   The store is located at 26 rue de Bièvre, 75005 Paris.
